About Platinum Lifts

Since starting an apprenticeship in lift engineering in 1982, Platinum Lifts' Managing Director, Robert Strange, has been dedicated to the lifts industry, installing a variety of passenger and goods lifts from different manufacturers.

At 16, Robert began his career as an apprentice with one of the oldest lift companies in Bristol, where he gained extensive experience in designing, manufacturing, and installing lifts.

Robert stayed with the company until 2000, then ventured out to work as a sub-contractor, using his experience to provide lift installation and refurbishment services to local and national lift companies. In 2009, he established Platinum Lifts to supply, install and maintain various lift products.

In 2014, Platinum Lifts formed an exclusive partnership with Aritco, known for its reliable products and exceptional aftercare services. This partnership marked a turning point, allowing the company to focus on Aritco platform lifts. As a result, Platinum Lifts has become one of Aritco’s leading partners.

This specialisation has allowed Platinum Lifts to maximise its expertise in Aritco products and improve product quality and service standards.
